Genetics are a huge part of obesity (pun intended)

I'm about 70 lbs over "ideal." In my life, I have lost from 30-70 pounds in a year, including 70 lbs in 2015. It always comes back, and often tries to add another 10 from where I was when I started the weight loss. Every member of my family is big. Meanwhile, my BP is a steady 115/70 and my resting HR is 62, and I get around fine. I'm almost 60. IIWII.
